Special Team Player of the Week
Minnesota P Chris Kluwe. If anyone will ever punt a ball to the roof of the Metrodome, it'll be Kluwe. Mr. Hang Time entered the game leading the NFL with a 51.0-yard punting average, and he unleashed five boomers on the day: 57, 48, 59, 38 (but high), 40 (but very high) to the Saints' 10, 9, 20, 23 and 37 yards lines, respectively. Total New Orleans punt-return yards: 9. As posted by Peter King on SI.com
I guess even with a win Kluwe remains the go to guy in Minny......yeah right but its nice to have. One cold January morning I will wake up and be able to say holy sh** they actually won!

Re: Special Team Player of the Week
I think he should be player of the week for the Vikes as a team as he conistently pinned the saints deep and no return. He is a big reason also why the "D" did so well and helped us win the filed position battle.

Re: Special Team Player of the Week
Richard Owens had a good day on special teams. He caused the fumble on he opening kickoff, and had some tackles on returns.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Didn't Kluwe have a couple of touchbacks though so his net average was probably down, but hey I'll take that over having our special teams try to chase someone down!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

he only had one and i believe it was his last punt so it didn't really matter.Didn't Kluwe have a couple of touchbacks though so his net average was probably down, but hey I'll take that over having our special teams try to chase someone down!

Kluwe outkicked the cameraman twice.
How in the world did he get cut from someone's camp?
