I'd be surprised if Frazier actually had anything to say.....without examining the tape first, he usually can't make any comment or decision without doing that first

    Inescapable facts:
    1. Ponder is not nor was he ever a starting QB in the NFL
    2. Cassell is a backup at best
    3. Freeman is an unknown with this team
    4. The Vikings must find out where the draft is going to need to go in April

I say put Freeman in and if he stinks then we know we need to draft big in the QB deep draft, if he works out we can head somewhere else and keep Cassell, either way Ponder is gone and best of luck to him

Not that it should come as a surprise, but it's official now. Freeman gets the start on Monday night.

If we get blown-out on Monday night football by an 0-6 Giants team, Frazier could be fired as soon as next week.

... or Freeman lights it up and we win on a national stage.

    Either way, I'll be happy.

Wish we could win AND Frazier & Co get fired. That would be a dream.
    Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

I'm not really sure what firing Frazier does for the team until the offseason. I think we could make the same statement by firing Musgrave. Not a big fan of the DC either, but Musgrave is public enemy number one in my eyes.

Freeman took 6 snaps in practice and knew the entire Musgrave offense !
They should play Freeman at cornerback as well as QB, then he might help the team.
With one win in 10 games played between the two teams, it should be an epic stinkfest on a national stage.
There is still hope that Freeman will show enough to become the franchise QB the Vikings seek.
That alone, makes this game interesting.

Yeah, I'm a little concerned that between the disfunctional defense and Musgrave's idiotic offense, Freeman could comeout and play like Peyton Manning in the 1st game of the season, yet we still will lose by 20....

6 snaps! That's a good one s-vike. See the promo for next week's MNF? "TWO TEAMS DESPERATE FOR A WIN!" I'm on the edge of my seat trembling with anticipation. Bet the ESPN brass wishes they could flex-schedule out of that one.
