True, but it depends whether it is a signing bonus or a roster bonus because a roster bonus is paid all up front and the signing bonus is spread ovr the life of the contract.

I know that the contract of Hutchinson is indeed a roster bonus but on KFAN radio today the Vikings still have plenty of money to spend on FA but the exact detail of the cap status I do not know, sorry.

chester, ben lebers, and longwells contracts are all signing bonuses

Not sure where exactly we stand but we had about 24 mil the first of the year. We gained about 2.3 by trading Pep and I think that we also got as did every team an increase of 10 mil in the cap ceiling. Not sure what the eventual hit is we take for hutch but we we should still have plenty to sign what we need to sign.
