Re: Some Viking Team Rankings from Fox Sports

I would have to agree that the QB rating is way to low. To rate a team "low" because the QB MAY get injured is absolutely stupid. And rating someone low due to their age is equally stupid. They don't rate Brett Favre low because of his age, why do they do it with BJ? We have am experienced, great Super Bowl winning QB who is not injury prone and has a solid O-Line to protect him, and the makings of a good running game where the odds of a QB getting hurt are less.

I'd like to smack some of these guys in the head. 31 Is simply rediculous. 25 I could accept... how do they come up with this stuff.

The rest of the article I couple probably agree with, although I'm slightly more optimistic.

wow, i just read more into the WR/TE rankings, check this out

    17. Minnesota
For proof that head coach Brad Childress learned under Andy Reid, look no further than his decision to try playing the season with little-respected receivers. Travis Taylor, Koren Robinson, Marcus Robinson, and Troy Williamson? The difference between this and Philadelphia is that all four of these players have talent, even if in some cases it has never been fully realized. Meanwhile, Jermaine Wiggins and Jim Kleinsasser form a potent tight end duo, although Wiggins is the one who is a valuable receiver.

while he doesnt completely bash our recievers, he admits they all have talent, now read what he says about the packers WR/TE's - who are ranked 1 spot ahead of us

    16. Green Bay
Donald Driver has ranked in the top 15 in DPAR in three of his four seasons as a starter, including his shining performance while the rest of the Packers' offense crumbled around him last year. Unfortunately, he will be on his own again this season. Robert Ferguson should be a third receiver. Marc Boerigter and Rod Gardner are lucky to have NFL jobs. Rookie Greg Jennings is unlikely to be ready for prime time. To compensate for suspect receivers, the Packers have acquired a stable of tight ends. Bubba Franks' best days as a receiver are gone. Donald Lee and David Martin's best days will probably not be too memorable.

he does nothing but talk bad about them, yet puts them one spot up

How are the Packers ahead of us in WR they are all 1st or 2nd year guys except for driver and Ferguson and they aren't even that great.

Re: Some Viking Team Rankings from Fox Sports

I don't think our line sucks as mentioned earlier. Its been upgraded really well this offseason. Sure there may be a weak link, but the center to left side is huge. Also, # 31 for QB is crazy. Alex Smith, Aaron Brooks, Charlie Frye, Pennington, Volek??? WTF?? Only JP Losman is ranked lower?? Steve McNair is no spring chicken & he's getting up there in years & injuires are catching up to him. I don't understand....
