Some Vic Carucci love
Dis is from an article by some mug named Vic Carucci, writing on NFL.com
================================================== =
No, the Rams aren't much of a test, just as the Lions weren't much of a test in Week 13. But winning six games in a row in the NFL is impressive, regardless of the opponents. After their disastrous start, the Vikings have no reason to apologize for their recent run of success. And Mike Tice doesn't have to apologize for being prominently mentioned as a coach-of-the-year candidate. He does deserve some of the blame for his players' embarrassing indiscretions during their bye, but he also deserves much of the credit for the team climbing back from the abyss. Some of the credit includes picking the right quarterback to lead this amazing comeback in Brad Johnson, who is 6-0 as a starter. Minnesota's defense also has done a tremendous job of making plays, intercepting rookie quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick five times and forcing a fumble, and stuffing the run.

We don' get much o' dis kinda stuff, y'know, so soak it up, youse guys!"From the fury of the Northmen, O Lord, save us!"

Ahem! "Coach Of The Year?" Do you really think so?And Mike Tice doesn't have to apologize for being prominently mentioned as a coach-of-the-year candidate.Kentucky Vikes Fan

When you require nothing, you get nothing; when you expect nothing, you will find nothing; when you embrace nothing, all you will have is nothing.

I think I am going to reserve all judgement until after Pittsburgh. Its nice to receive praise from the media, but even we don't know if its truly deserved yet. Tice might get some votes, but he won't beat Dungy, Holmgren or Smith out. Im really looking forward to finally seeing if our team is for real this sunday.

Nice to hear good stuff about our boys like that, but it's weird I'm just not used to it since the media seems to hate the Vikes. I guess Vic Carucci doesn't!
