Here's the forcast for tonight from weather.com:

    http://www.weather.com/outlook/events/nfl/gameforecast/60605?eventid=305017&from=NFL_teamsched

    Partly Cloudy
    Temperature: 24F
    Feels like: 10F
    Probability of precip: 20%
    Wind Impact: MEDIUM
    NW at 19.0

Fortunately, my seats for tonight are in the southwest corner, so I should be protected from the wind, at least a little bit.
Heres hoping that you cheer so loud tonight that your so horse you can't type tomorrow.

    Enjoy the game my friend.
I plan on it. I'm only going to be about 20 rows from the field along the goal-line. So when the Vikings score at my end of the field, hopefully the parabolic mikes will pick up me singing 'Skol Vikings'.

I'm wearing my white Peterson jersey, though it might be hidden under my giant purple Vikings coat for some of the game, based on the forecast.

And I probably will get my ass kicked. My wife is going to the game too, and she's a bears fan.

My thoughts on the wind tonight:

    Weather Report:

Should be clear, with temps in the low to mid 20's, and a 15 to 20 mph sustained wind from the NW the whole night.

The wind will be more of an issue for the kicking game than the passing game. The lake is to the east, so the wind is coming from the other direction, so it won't be as cold. Plus the west side of Soldier Field is the side of with the spaceship. There will be some swirling, but not enough to significantly affect the passing game.

I still want to see a runnin gplay called 75% of the time. Let's let AD do what AD does best to this team.

Interesting.. I'm definitely NOT very confident due to the past few losses and the cold weather. And, I'll mist the first half of the game, too. I work 4:30-9:30pm. =/

Cutler is 0-4 this year during night games. He threw 4 TDs and 12 INTs.

I hate the media. They are making this out to be a bigger deal than what it is. They aren't looking at the matchup, they are looking at the weather for Favre. All of this Favre/Childress stuff wouldn't be around if we were winning. But since we have lost 2 of the past 3 games, this garbage comes up as a distraction. It's not all of Favre's fault either, but that's what the media has made it out to be. Notice how the media was saying about Tom Brady and Randy Moss feuding? Yeah... They did that on purpose to get their favorite duo to play with an edge. Well, let's take this feuding talk and put it away with a win tonight.

My biggest concern is the Vikings attitude problem. If the offensive line plays like they have been the Bears could win. :woohoo:

This game fellas is what we call a GUT CHECK. Cold weather, grass field, night game, it's time to put those deamons to rest. I'm hoping and optimistic, this will be a nice springboard into the playoffs, give us confidence that we can play anywhere.
