Some good tidbits from Start Tribune...

    • Although Kelly Campbell won't play in a preseason game because of a quadriceps injury, Tice indicated the receiver will make the roster.

"He's got a history, and we know him," Tice said. "The tough thing is going to be how many [receivers] am I going to keep? Do we keep five, do we keep six? Do we even think about keeping seven? I don't know, but certainly that's going to play into it more than anything."

    • The Vikings have no interest in return man Chad Morton, although they came close to signing him during the offseason before he decided to go to New England. The Patriots severed ties with Morton this week.

    • Lee and receivers Troy Williamson, Ryan Hoag and Chris Jones will get a chance to return kickoffs Friday. Safety Darren Sharper, receiver Keenan Howry and Hoag will return punts.

    • Veteran defensive back Ken Irvin revealed he has been playing despite a torn labrum in his right shoulder since early in training camp. Irvin does not expect the injury to sideline him.

Glad we are keeping Cambell hopefully
I also didn't know that Sharper was any good at punt returns...

K.Camp ... let him go, dont care about.

C.Morton ... the Pats let him go for a reason, skip him.

T.Will on kickoffs ... not a smart move Tice, looking for a silly injury to happen.

Irvin ... is expendable, let him go.

Kelly is a game breaker who has, and will, help us out with big plays.

    Agreed.

We have guys who could probably do better...so, yeah.

Irvin ... is expendable, let him go.
Not the way B-Will has been playing lately... We shouldn't let him go...
