if you don't complain, you don't care.
If you complain you don't care enough to think things through.

Obviously that is a blanket statement and could possibly offend people but i figured as long as we are saying stupid shit like If you don't complain you don't care.....I would go ahead and throw that out there.

I think we pretty much sucked this year.
We started 4-2 and finished 6-10.
Next year we'll start out 2-4 and finish 10-6.

    Sounds like troll speak 101!

I have enough negativity in my real life. I don't look to add to it in my entertainment.

I will deal with the losses as they come. But in the off season I just can't find a legitimate reason to feel bad. We haven't lost a game this season yet, have we?

I will be a realist during the season. For now I'm a bit of a homer and proud to be so.

Re: So What if we suck next year stop complaining

Without my purple blinders, I see an 8-8 season, maybe 9-7. I don't wanna wait for a return to prominence, but it seems we are re-tooling for the Chills 3rd year. Next season is likely to be a platform from which we launch into contenders in 2008 (so I hope). That being the case, I have to accept it, and move on to a mode where I am happy seeing progress, and not regression. I can accept 8-8 if T-Jack improves as the season goes on, and at least ONE WR shows he can catch the blasted ball. I figure our defence will be better, and might even reach close to an elite level, but the O, as it is currently formulated, will do well to be average. An 8-8 season that has no QB progress or reciever progress, will have me complaining. Right now, I just worry, but I can't really pound the Head Office for its (seeming) 2nd tier moves, until I see the product on the field. One year is not enough info.

    fair enough horned hat.
but we must admit coaches don't get the benefit much anymore of a 3-4 year plan.
look at new orleans, you can turn your team around fast if you make the rigth moves and so far we've basically made none.
so worried is probably the best way of putting it and that's what i am.
so i'm sorry if that ruins del rio's day but it is what it is.

New Orleans turned their season around by:
    * Grabbing the best FA QB to hit the market in YEARS
    * Having the top player in the draft fall into their laps
    * Finding the brightest nugget in the 7th round in Marques Colston
    * Getting Deuce McAlister back at full health
    * Signing key LBs (Scott Fujita, for example) to bolster their defense
    * Playing 8 games in front of a home crowd which was starved for good news and success - this factor cannot be discounted.

The key factor, is, of course, getting Drew Brees.
I can't remember the last time a proven stud of an NFL QB was so easily let go by his former team.
Huge mistake (IMHO) on the part of San Diego, no matter what Phillip Rivers did last season.

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Trust me when I say nothing you could do could ruin my day. In order for you to even effect my day you would have to write something that made sense and perhaps contained enough spaces between thoughts to prevent my eyes from bleeding. As it stands now you do not need to apologize for ruining my day, and please don't attempt to tell me how it is when only you are "special" enough to see how it is in your la la land you call reality.

You might be off the mark here with that.

I really believe that the approach the staff has taken so far (a little piece here, a little piece there) shows that Ziggy is onboard with the overall plan of building a team that will win for years, vice taking a shot at signing a whole bunch of costly FA at the end of thier career (Wash) just to win today.

    That approach (IMHO) is outdated.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg
