I am pumped right now...my dad just told me that me and him are gonna fly out to Minnesota on the 7th to watch the Vikings play the Lions on the 8th. Being from NY this means alot to me, it's gonna be my first time watching a Vikings game in the dome.
So whats it like watching a game from there? Win or lose im sure its going to be a great experience for me...well they better win
I wish I could do that, that'd be sweet. Coincidentally, I live only an hour from detroit, the home of the Lions, so if I had the time (and money) I could see the other Vikings-Lions game.
i've only been to the Dome for a preseason game, but still love it even though i didnt have the best seats, the energy there gets you a lot more excited then watching it from your TV, and im not a guy to actually stand up and yell, but i sure did taht game.
plus ragnar's entrance is that much better =)

Like Jamie said though, you will understand once you get there.
It's hard to explain you just have to go and then you will understand.
But being at the game is so great, being with all those other Vikings fans cheering on our boys man, it's great!

It's a blast. Lots of stuff going on outside the dome, they've sometimes got the radio broadcast and tents with Viking stuff. Inside, it's pretty load...used to be earsplitting but the NFL forced the Vikes to tone it down a hair. It's a great time, you'll have fun.
ahhh...i had a blast at my first and only game there so far...04 season against the bears...i was so excited i got up at 6 am (after a nite of heavy drinking no less) and walked over to the stadium which was about 7 blocks or so from the hotel...it was so cool seeing the dome for the first time with the sun coming up over the stadium...that was one of my fav memories ever...
now i just have to get my arse up there for a game this year... :o ;D :o
