Re: Smoot out 4-6 weeks
That is horrible news but Brian is a decent CB so we will see how he does versus the Giants WRs.

Well...
While I'm not a big Smoot fan (mainly not a fan of his big mouth), all around he is a better CB than Brian "matchbook" Williams IMO. I guess we'll see what Williams can do for us as a starter again. I hope he proves me and opinion of him wrong and gives all of you B. Will backers something to gloat about come Monday. Can he cover on a consistant level? Can he do it for a whole game? Several weeks? I guess we will see...Even babies know the difference.

Next thing you know there will be rumors that he will be traded along with Pep.

I can say with absolute confidence that Brian Williams will not get his jock handed to him any more then Smoot has since he dawned the Purple and Gold.
This hurts the team having Smoot go down. I'm not worried about Brian Williams, I am worried about Ted Cottrell. He is the main reason Smoot has been getting lit up as well.

Studwell was my defensive hero as I was growing-up.
They do not make LB's like that anymore.

I totally agree bro.. As of right now I would say they are on the same talent level.. I have no problems with Williams starting.. I hope we can get Gallishaw some playing time
