I don't understand why I still hear Fred Smoot mentioned at least twice a month in random conversations. It's like when Koren Robinson emerges from out of nowhere.

Young lady, its because a few on here actually thought that the 2005 team was talented and felt slighted when the new staff came in and shitcanned players like K-rob and Smoot.

You mean after the high speed chase and suspension for drugs the next year? Or before that?

I had high hopes in 2005; I also had high hopes this year, but promise doesn't mean shit if you don't follow through.

For the record, I liked Koren, I just don't know why people still talk about him as much as they do. And the references to Smoot and Robinson I was talking about come from outside PPO, which makes it all the more strange.
