I'm not surprised crap like this is coming out of Smoot's big mouth. As I've stated many many times before, I've never liked the guy. I held my nose when he was a Viking and only rooted for him for a short time because he was a member of our organization. Now, I'm glad he's gone and wish him the worst.

I went to the Cincy game in 2005. He was toasted on a regular basis. Made me wanna vomit. A total embarassment all year and '06.

Less than classy of Smoot to trash Minnesota.
Granted, he was completely misused by Cotrell when he was here, and was pretty much a fan punching bag by his last season.
Minnesota wasn't good for him, and he wasn't good for Minnesota.

Now, statements like that really make me wonder if people watched the same games as me.
In the Cinci game we was moved off man and left hung out to dry all game by Cottrell. I think he was trying to prove a point or something.
Smoot has a lot of issues, but that game was not all on him.

Seriously, if you are a DC and see your corner getting burned and don't roll a safety over to help, then the fault lies more with you than the CB.
