I don't see why pot is such a huge deal to people. I bet 99% of the squad smokes or has smoked, as well as the league, the entire NBA and so forth. NBA players are high during the games. Its not like Onterrio was getting sick, going to rehab, spending all his money on it or letting it interfere with his play. Its just funny to hear the beaurocratic people in here serve as lapdogs of the law without question about a mild psychoactive plant.
Farve was addicted to pain killers. No suspension.

    Re: Smith Suspended for year

The worste part of all this, is another waste of a draft pick.

I don't think that the FO should draft any more players that have had problems that the organization can't cope with. Moss and Smith's reputations were known even before they were drafted, so why draft them?? I don't understand. It makes the FO look incompetant to me.

A lot of people seem to think that Tice and Co. are great drafters. Why? Because a few first rounders turned out good? First round is the easy pick. IMO, other than Burleson, nobody has done anything special.

    Tice's Draft History

    2002
    Rd Sel# Player Pos. School
    1 7 Bryant McKinnie T Miami
2 38 Raonall Smith OLB Washington State
3 70 Willie Offord SS South Carolina
4 105 Brian Williams CB North Carolina State
    4 132 Ed Ta'amu G Utah
6 177 Nick Rogers OLB Georgia Tech
    7 218 Chad Beasley T Virginia Tech

    2003
    Rd Sel# Player Pos. School
1 9 Kevin Williams DT Oklahoma State
    2 40 E.J. Henderson MLB Maryland
3 71 Nate Burleson WR Nevada
4 105 Onterrio Smith RB Oregon
    6 180 Eddie Johnson P Idaho State
6 190 Mike Nattiel OLB Florida
7 221 Keenan Howry WR Oregon

    2004
    Rd Sel# Player Pos. School
1 20 Kenechi Udeze DE Southern California
2 48 Dontarrious Thomas OLB Auburn
3 88 Darrion Scott DE Ohio State
    4 115 Nat Dorsey T Georgia Tech
4 119 Mewelde Moore RB Tulane
5 155 Rod Davis MLB Southern Mississippi
6 184 Deandre Eiland DB South Carolina
7 220 Jeff Dugan TE Maryland

    Smith is still a dumb-azz!
