I should have started this one on Sunday but I was distracted by all the Ace Ventura like Moss Butt Talking topics.

One game doesn't make the QB but it is a step in the right direction.

    Daunte Culpepper MIN 19 of 29 284 yd 4 TDs 0 Ints

Lead the team in Rushing with 54 yds

He didn't even have a WR that cracked the top 10 for the weekend in receiving yds or receptions.

    DC played an awesome game.

Where is Packman to turn this into a Favre vs Culpepper topic?
DC won this game when it counted, with 4 TDs compared to Favre's 4 INTs. Like I said, one game doesn't make the QB but it is a step in the right direction. Let's plan the torch passing ceremony later this month or early Feb.

Daunte Culpepper does not get the respect he rightfully deserves. He has come a long way for our Vikings team and will continue to get better.

All this with really no consistent running game all season. He is making things happen and becoming a leader for this team.

    SKOL Daunte Culpepper!!! :salute:

Pep stepped up when he had to. His runs for first downs we just huge. He will definately have a ring and an MVP before his career is over!

If I were a Packer fan, I would henceforth be more worried about the threat posed by Daunte than that by Moss. In three games, DC has thrown 11 TDs against the Pack with no INTs. Moreover, the Packers sacked him exactly 0 times in the regular season. I always knew Culpepper would be great!

    BELIEVE!
Actually in week 10 they sacked him 4 times.
Minnesota Comp Att Yds Pct Y/A Sack YdsL TD Int
    D. Culpepper 27 44 363 61.4 8.3 4 18 4 0

But, he still is great. Did you see the stat about he has 16 TD passes and 0 INT's in how many games against the Pack? I did not catch that one.

The fact that he has been sacked so many times this season and put up those kind of number is amazing. Only 11 INTs and a 69% completion rate with that kind of pressure from the opposing D's game in and game out.

I totally agree! We were 8th in sacks allowed and Pep still whooped-up on offense!
