We are a few days into NFL training camp so it seems like the perfect time to breakdown the Vikings’ top players on the offensive and defensive side of the ball...

and a fearless prediction of 6-10 ?
boy he does have some doubts there. Well we'll see come end of the regular season if he was right or not.Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

Re: Sizing up the Vikings by position
Pretty poor reporting, in my opinion.
Has this guy read any of the training camp reports at all?
No mention of Marcus McCauley or Aundrae Allison?
Or that Ray Edwards is now getting #1 reps at DE?
That was about as uninformative a report on the Vikings from any "local" paper as I have ever seen.
That's the kind of generic drivel I expect to see from some no-nothing out of town writer.SKOL VIKINGS!

I agree...McCauley could start opposite Winfield by the time the season rolls around...he's that talented...and is having a GREAT camp.Pretty poor reporting, in my opinion.

So could Ray Edwards...he could supplant Darrion Scott as the starter...or at least be in the game on obvious passing downs.BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Again, with this whole RDE/LDE. Kinda hard to understand but these two positions are not completely interchangeable at will."cajunvike" wrote:

Udeze 6-3 281/Scott 6-3 289 lbs.
James 6-4 266/Edwards 6-5 268 lbs.
In order for him to supplant Udeze he would have to add weight (probably slowing him down) although his frame could probably carry it and also beat out other DE on that side. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Erasmus is a beast. God I hope his knee becomes a non issue SOON.
Isn't he on the PUP list now?
If we could get some QB pressure the secondary might not look as pityful this year.I've been a Viking fan since I was just out of diapers, hopefully we get Super Bowl win before I go back in 'em.

No need for Edwards to put on weight...as long as he comes in on passing downs and works his sack magic, Scott can start all year long."purplepat" wrote:
