Sizing up: McKinnie ready to guide rookie Loadholt

Sizing up: McKinnie ready to guide rookie Loadholt

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Being big has obvious rewards. There are millions of dollars Bryant McKinnie never would have made, had he stopped filling out, oh, 100 pounds ago.

But size isn't always an advantageous matter.

The dude is a monster, man I'd hate to buy his groceries. We are gonna be running downhill with our bookend tackle's blocking out everything in their path.

Just to add, I think just by having " THE LOAD" starting at RT, he will have an impact on "Mount Mac" and Mac will be a better player himself this season.
Mac will take The Load, under his wing and become his mentor, which has more than likely already taken place. Mac will probably look at The Load as his little brother, and with that in mind, he will play even harder, trying to set an example for the rookie.
I see some great things happening with our O line this season.
Our team as a whole is going to be better, and we WILL be a force that other teams won't want to deal with.

I liked the pick and think he has potential and hope the best for him, but I wonder, how many of you sucking his taint now will be treating him like Cook after a few false starts or sacks allowed?

lol oh you cynic Marr
;D I'm just hoping that Loadholt doesn't follow all of McKinnie's work ethics but it sounds promising for him at the moment.

I don't really like the idea of McKinnie being anyones role model.Next thing you know Loadholt will be getting suspended for partying with [s]strippers[/s] hookers and getting in bar fights. Not to mention what it could mean on the field(I don't think Mac is the best one to teach footwork).
Hopefully I'm wrong about Mac, but he seems to be a very immature person.

I hope McKinnie isn't going to teach him how to get off the ball.

I hope Mac DOES teach him how to get off the ball.. He got very good at it the last 2 years

He will give him pointers on how to deal with his slower feet
