Simpson = Beast?
Is he the guy to resurrect our receiver corps? He has hands like glue, speed, and acrobatics. But will we take advantage of a guy like this or run vanilla?!

That's some slippery glue. He has dropped passes as well as made some.

I like Simpson. I think he is going to be a pretty good addition to our WR corps. He definitely has the speed, and he has decent hands.

He's quick, reliable and agile - I think he'll be a great #1. With that being said, I don't know how good our passing game will be this year.
I'm expecting big things, but I was expecting big things with Tarvaris too.Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.

Well he definitely seems to bring some deep speed that we've lacked for years...
But, can we find enough talent in the rest of our WRs to win those first 2 games without him!??

I've got to say, from what I've seen this preseason, he looks pretty good. At this point, anybody who can get down the field and catch the ball, will be a welcome addition.
Its better to lose the first game than the last one.

Beast? Hmmm...not really the word that comes to mind when I think of Jerome the acrobat Simpson. Maybe Flying Wallenda or Gabby Simpson?
Jerome should be a good addition to the WR corps. I think of him as a B receiver that fills a strong need for us.
Does he still get to practice with the Vikings during his suspension?

Much of Simpsons success will be tied to how well the offensive line can protect Ponder.
The line looks better so far, so Simpson should have a good year. I love the guys attitude.
Simpson should also open things up enough to allow the tight ends to have a lot of catches.
