awesome video, i sure liked this pick...even thou jarrett was available
To add to VikingsTw's post, Rice has more upside than Jarrett. My only concern is his lack of experience and how long it will take him to step into our #1 role.
Twill certainly react to being slapped into that role so soon.
that is true, but he did rack up over 2000 yards in those 2 years, something that took bowe 4 years to do..i think character and willingness to learn are more important that how long you sat on the sidelines in college..lets hope hes got those kind of positive qualities
    Thats a great point.
I am hoping he does have these intangibles. Maybe instead of experience, I should of said I have concerns of his maturity level, both mentally and as a polished receiver.

Also, we grabbed DE Robison....whom Tony Dungy really wanted in Indy. Check the link:

It was easy to see why Dungy wanted him.
    We had a great draft.

There is something Sidney lacks, which Jarrett has enough of, and nobody really needs.
That is, while Sidney was a Gamecock, he was never cocky.

Here's Sidney in the corner against one of those pushover SEC teams:

    Fantastic draft.
I was a little disappointed with the latter part of our picks.
When we drafted Audrae Allison, I was hoping that we would go after WR Jordan Kent- Oregon.
He would have been a better pick there and a straight steal especially in the 6th round.
I was hoping with the seventh pick, we would have taken Kyle Young.
Now that he hasn't been drafted, let's get him in here to sure up the right side of the line.
He would be great at RG, if he lost about 15-20 lbs.
    Well I am hoping.
    I give the Childress draft a B+.
I still think that we had one of the best drafts of all the teams.
I agree with you on these thoughts except Allison.
He is going to be a nice burst of speed for the wide outs next to Williamson and also who knows he might be a good return specialist if they try him out.
Let me say the Niners came out with the best draft including the LB of the draft and will soon be an all-pro in Pat Willis.
Lets not forget Jackson who came over for next to nothing.
And lets hope the pats get beat before the Super Bowl because we don't wanna see him there that is if we make it.

I brought up Robison for 2 reasons:

    - we drafted him & his video is cool
    - This is my thread
