could be, but it wouuld be a foolish way to try to get a bigger contract. not too many teams like injury prone players. maybe he just isn't that tough. low pain threshold.

This is a part of the reason I've withheld from making any bold claims about Rice. While he has had one great statistical season, he's only had one. And from the looks of things, he's about to embark upon a second "injured" or "Injury hampered" season.

Sort of reminds me of Mewelde Moore, who seemed to be hurt every other week...

Now, I'm NOT in favor of Sidney rushing out early to prove his toughness, I'd rather he actually be ready before he jeopardizes his season to prove a point...

...but I'm not 100% convinced that he's going to be a long term answer at WR either.

Proving his toughness is EXACTLY what Sidney Rice needs to do. As far as I'm concerned he doesn't have any. He's totally mishandled this offseason.
