The only defense I can think of is if by "some" he meant "a lot", and was just toning it down for the reporter.

Re:Sidney Rice unsure if he'll be ready for opener
He will play ... but his history of missing games for minor injuries does seem a little offputting.
I wonder if this is at all a bigger contract play?

Re:Sidney Rice unsure if he'll be ready for opener
Hopefully PH can play, because if Rice is off to a slow start, and Percy can't go our debth at WR is shaky at best. BB is ready, but I don't want Javon Walker or any other cast off signed yet. Maybe somebody better will be picked up off the waiver wire.

I guess it’s too late to make an offer for Moss, but what a wild year we could have with him! :woohoo:

could be, but it wouuld be a foolish way to try to get a bigger contract. not too many teams like injury prone players. maybe he just isn't that tough. low pain threshold. He will play ... but his history of missing games for minor injuries does seem a little offputting.
I wonder if this is at all a bigger contract play? Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.
