Your not the only one. I've been saying that has been our offenses problem all year.

Defense, well, El Syd can't help the DL much other than to help sustain drives and keep that piece of crap DL off the field.
    Marr,
Why is our DL a peice of crap? $th against the run. Middle of the road vs. pressure. Our Dl is still our strength. It's not their fault that our Cbs give in like a drunk senior on prom night.

Lets take a look at bat downs? Break ups? Ints?
I think Ints are a product of pressure but the lack of break ups is apparent in. We don't have the talent in the secondary that we need.
It's a two way street. Good coverage can cause sacks and pressure can make your coverage look better. Our secondary demands that our DL perform at a high level for them to look average. When do they ever bail the DL out with a coverage sack? Its obvious you rather blame pro bowlers and possible Haller famers over a couple of rookies and no name players.:P
Don't let the ranking mislead you my friend.

You want to know whats obvious when it comes to me......? Look real close at the teams they've faced and the running backs on them, especially the last 5 games. Only time they put up good numbers vs the run is against teams that didn't have a running attack.

You know what I worry the most about against the Giants? Its nots Eli's passing skills or our secondary, its Bradshaw and Jacobs and what I fear they will do against our DL.

By the way, we are 11th against the pass this year and those guys on the backend deserve alot of credit for that. They played pretty much the whole year without the DL getting any kindof pressure up front and if you take it one step further, several of the sacks the "Bigs" got in the last couple of games are coverage sacks.

Long story short, I think even you would agree that our strenght, atleast this year, has been LB'rs, followed by DB's and then, DL my friend.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

Our DL is really pretty good, because.......

Their conditioning problem is getting better as the season goes on. They are getting tougher and may have lost a few pounds.

The quality depth we have at those positions has helped and is still helping a lot.
It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.

I fear what the Giants will do against our OL.

Our OL has shown some improvement for various reasons but is still subject to catastrophic failure on pash rush.

May they finally play consistently well against the Giants.....otherwise we are doomed......and TJ might be doomed as well.
