    Sidney Rice blogging

Say an article in the Star tribune

Just saw wide receiver Sidney Rice’s personal website which features his own blog. In it, he writes that his second season was a “3 or 4? on a scale of 10 and talks about his offseason workout program in Miami with Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber

Also checked out his blog and website. Took a quick look but seems pretty cool.

Doesn't seem like he's in any rush to sell the #18 to Rosenfells...

    Nor should he be.

    Cool read.
    Thanks!!
    Seems like a cool kid.
Working his butt off to get better...and, sounds like he's healthy too.
He really has flashed some playmaking ability...great leap and body control, good effort on dives etc.
I hope he can stay on the field this year!!

Hmm, looks like he wore No.4 in college.
    Ooops, thats Booty.

I think Rice has the potential to really come out of his shell this year.
He is very young and has great up-side.
It's great to hear he's working hard to stay in shape, working with Marion Barber can't hurt either, he has to be an intense workout guy.
But....... I was at the Philly game, and after the A. Samuel pick for 6, as the team was returning to the sidelines, one of the coaches (Bevell, Rogers, I'm not sure) was in Rice's face, screaming at him.
I think he ran the wrong route.
If that is the case I would like to see Sidney hitting the playbook hard as well.

    Agreed.

If El Sid can have a 'breakout' season, the Vikes will truly be a force well into the play-offs.

Note: If El Sid is breaking out, it implies A QB is having a good to great year, unless AD is doing the option thing.

Anyone know if there are any good WR numbers available for him with consecutive digits?

Good to see Rice working hard. I think for sure he is our starting WR next season. Health has probably been Rice's biggest issue but I'm far away from throwing in the towel on him. I always remind people that Rice is still very young at 22. I thought it was intristing to read was nervous coming in as a rookie, for him (A Junior) there was a big step to take into the pro game. With the physical and mental differences. I expect all our high draft choices to be hard workers and exell. With healthy knees, a stronger body, a more in shape body, and the evolution of the mental game Rice should be more ready than ever to have a good year. Considering his age I think its more expectable now.

    Where did you see that?
    Or get that impression?
    Just curious.
