Re:Sid Rice News
It is time to make a big trade. Two words...Randy Moss. It makes sense for both parties since Randy most likely won't be with them next year.
This is sad news.

It's ok, I'll miss minicamp but train on my own.
It's ok, I haven't been training but I'll be ready for training camp.
It's ok, I'll miss training camp but I'll be ready for the season.
It's ok, I'll miss the season opener but I'll be healthy after that.
It's ok, I'll miss the first six weeks but I'll be ready for the second half.
Absurd.

Re:Sid Rice News
Unbelievable!
EJ should kick his ass after working so hard to get back on the field so quickly after his gruesome leg injury.

Re:Sid Rice News
This whole situation is frustrating as hell considering that he could have gotten the surgery just a week after the NFC Championship game and probably been 100% by now.
There must be some sort of "scary" thing about the surgery or recovery or whatever that Sid wanted to avoid.
In the end ... he is only going to miss 5 games ... which should not kill us, but definitely hurts us.
Let's hope that Percy and Bernard are ready to step up and hope that AD is ready to be the man. Even when Rice gets back ... he might not be right.

Re:Sid Rice News
I'll wait to hear his explanation before I freak out about it
I'm not happy about it.. But it's time for the others to step up
On a positive note, Berrian was meshing with Favre well towards the end.. I hope that continues.. Percy will be getting more looks and he's a great weapon
I hope J-Walk is in good shape and can contribute

Re:Sid Rice News
Bad situation that was completely avoidable.
I wonder how Sid's contract situation plays into this. He clearly wanted a new deal(not many pro-bowl WR's making less than his 650K). He may have thought that having surgery would hurt his chances of getting a new deal before this season.
Obviously if that was the plan it back fired and now he's going to sit out half his contract year.
I sure hope he makes a quick and complete recovery.

What is everyone all in a tizzy for? I thought the majority of posters on here believed that the Noodle made El Syd.
If in fact they are correct, we don't need him. The Noodle will just make the next WR to take El Syds spot into a 1,000 yard reciever....... :dry:Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

So which is it? The QB or the reciever? As to the other PUKER (aka JW), you do remember that he and the Noodle didn't get along to well when they were together the last time right?Marrdro wrote:
