should the vikings trade for Ryan Mallett

He shows he can play on the NFL level and he been sitting back watching Brady and learning from him, remember the vikings still have Seattle 4th round pick. I'll gamble with him better than these QB coming out now u dnt know wat u gon get like when they drafted Ponder and the vikings never do good drafting a QB something to think about

Y not I think mallet is a decent QB better than gambling in the draft and the vikings take somebody no one ever heard of like they drafted ponder

I think I would do it, it is worth the gamble for a 4th round pick

How exactly has he shown he can play?

Ryan Mallett: Game Logs at NFL.com

He has some scattershot preseason action and a couple garbage time throws in 2012 nothing that I'd put any faith in.

As for being under Brady you know we already employ a QB that did that in Matt Cassel so being under Brady or any other stud QB does not a stud QB make.

NO, Mallett os a head case, that's why he dropped in the Draft.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

    Forget it. Rather keep Cassel.

Nope, has proved nothing in the NFL.. Not to mention his stock dropped with character issues coming out of college. No thanks.

Maybe. He's big and has a great arm. But why would New England let him go if he's a competent backup to what will be a 37 year old QB?
