Should the Vikings consider trading for Jamie Winborn?
Looks like the 49ers are ready to trade him... http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/4914690
...maybe they are looking for a speedy RB in return??? Let's hope so! I think that it would be a good deal for both sides...since our LBs aren't really lighting it up and neither are their RBs...

Re: Should the Vikings consider trading for Jamie Winborn?
I've seen him play quite a bit living in California, and he is a good player, but do we really need another fast athletic linebacker that is probably more undisciplined than we need? I guess because of some injuries it might be a good idea, but I'm still not sure...

Only if it is to make inspirational video tapes for our team, that's the only job for him here

Re: Should the Vikings consider trading for Jamie Winborn?
No more room on the Viking LB ship. Now if he was a center or a guard, maybe????? Can he play either of those two positions.
He is unhappy that he isn't starting, he wouldn't be happy here. We already have some unhappy LBs. From the tone of Newman, it sounded like he thought Napo was a token player at best because of the trade for whats his name.
If he can start on the O line, sign him, or with the injuries mounting, maybe if he can play D line. But the O line is the only spot where I would think there is any question who would start if better talent came along.

Didn't he just leave the 9ers?

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

Coach I think made a statement that they will consider a trade rather than keep him. He must have really pissed the coach off.

Who in the eff is Jamie Winborn???
I think we have plenty of playmakers on D, we don't need anyone else, that would just take PT from some of the guys that need more of it as it is.542cbf305f333b0554e8ffa937f852d6
