Should Jackson just be benched for the duration?

I don't think this guy will ever be ready for the NFL.
I mean how much time does he need?
I would rather put backups in and if we it doesn't work out we have a shot at a good draft pick next season.

No point in benching the young guy for someone like Holcomb or Bollinger. Neither will be starters in the NFL at this point so you might as well hope you can salvage Tarvaris.

My point is that he is a lost cause.
He will never be good.
If he hasn't shown up by now he never will.
Holcomb and Bollinger are about as talented as Jackson has shown himself to be.
He should be benched or traded soon before he has no market value

I am with Jesse and Purple on this. Exactly who do you suggest putting in there? It is not like a switch to Holcomb actually makes us more potent ... so there is no reason to make the move. Unfortunately it is an offseason decision, so we have to ride this one out and see what we get from him.
