I don't know about the Mannings, but don't you worry Magicci, Gannon will NEVER make the top 10 15, or 20 list.

I think Eli will surpass his older brother in just a few years. From what I saw of him in college, he seems to have poise on the field beyond his years and can throw pinpoint beauties.

Two words, "HELL YEAH". As much as some of you guys might hate favre, his is without a doubt a top 10 QB. One thing that should not be overlooked, is his streak of starts. That is absolutely amazing and is a factor in comparing QB's. I bet that you won't find an NFL expert, that would say favre isn't top 10, and most would even put him top 5.

And another thing...I don't think the Packers have ever had a losing season under Favre. Someone should check this out. I'd venture to say that Favre's W-L record as a QB is probably in the top five all time.

Favre's worst season was 8-8. As for his ability to read defenses he is excellent at it. The problem is he feels that he can zip any pass into triple coverage and complete it.

Unfortunately Favre is probabaly a top 10 QB of all time, and he isn't even done yet (unfortunatley). I hate Favre as much as the next viking fan, but you still have to give props when they are due and Favre will most likely end up in the top 5 of all time!!

Number one of all time forever: Joe Montana!!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

Should Favre be rated in top 10 QB's of all time.

Interesting...we've kind of talked about the "greatest QB of all time"in other threads.

I would place Favre near the mid-bottom of the top ten.

    1) Montana (no doubt)

    2) Johnny Unitas
    3) John Elway
    4) Dan Marino

    5) Terry Bradshaw (purely on championships won)
    6) Brett Favre
    7) Roger Staubach
    8) Fran Tarkenton
    9) Dan Fouts
    10) Sammy Baugh

I think the tough thing is that Favre's career isn't over. If he finishes like Elway with a ring (cue wailing and gnashing of teeth from Viking fans), I think he moves into the next tier. If he finishes like Dan Marino, he moves down closer to the bottom of the top ten.
Have you ever seen a race of turtles, and they all go the wrong way instead of towards the finish line?

    Welcome to the NFC North.

I'm biting my tongue LA, so we don't get into the montana vs marino debate again.
