Like PPE said, why the hell would we want a fired coach?
Have you seen that team play lately?
With all that talent they look like a bunch of clowns.
Also he has no control over that team.

Personally, I do not care for him.

First off, its Caughlin.. Just watching out for you..

Childress will not be let go after 1 year.. Caughlin couldn't get the job done with all those years of experience.. Childress was a rookie, give him time..

Please, enough with the "new head coach" talk.
Childress will not and should not be fired after one year.
The man needs time to build his team, a new coaching staff will only serve to create inconsistancy within the Vikings organization.
Something that we as fans have dealt with for several years now.

Patience.

Actually we do have a coach that was fired before.
Childress was fired when he was an assistant coach, not sure when or from where but i read that in the newspaper today.

But it doesnt matter because Childress will be the Vikings coach next year.

I agree..........but i hope BC does straighten up and finds a way to get the vikings somewhere next year. I dont think he should be calling the plays next year.

Understandable but in Vikings history ist years getting fired is not ver uncommon 1984 Les Skeckel was fired and 1985 it was Bud Grant who came back and left right after the season. Cofflin is a good coach from what I've seen from their play calling with New york. Any ways it's not unheard of to fire a first year if the organazation doesn't like the way he coached his team.

Just thought I'd point out, Coughlin (sp?) doesn't do the playcalling.

Childress will improve next year when he has more experience. And no coach gets fired after one year. It's stupid to even think that.

Besides that I believe Coughlin is a jerk. He has never earned any respect from his players because he is such a head case.
