Should Brad Johnson get a raise?
If he is our starter shouldn't he get paid like one?
Entire ArticleVikings quarterback Brad Johnson, who is signed as the team's starter for a relatively low $1.2 million this season, said he has had no talks about a new contract. "We're not talking about that now," he said.
Another great sig by PPE!

Re: Should Brad Johnson get a raise?
If he plays like a starter, pay him like one. He has yet to prove whether he can lead this team.

Re: Should Brad Johnson get a raise?
if he does want one i think we should just give him a half mil raise in guaranteed money and make the rest incentive cash

Re: Should Brad Johnson get a raise?
Well I wouldn't mind giving him a raise, as long as we still have all the money we need to spend elsewhere on other players.
But I think we still have lots of caproom, so I wouldn't mind giving him a little raise to keep him in line with other starters.
Thanks PPE for the sig.

Re: Should Brad Johnson get a raise?
I say nay.
He is only our temporary starter until we can get a young franchise quarterback. The Vikes have no long term plans centered around him. Besides, he doesn't need it...those social security checks are right around the corner!
