Thread: Sharrif Floyd Has Short Arms
05-05-2013, 08:32 AM #41teams prefer pass-rushers with longer arms because it allows them to separate quickly from offensive linemen. Still short-arm pass-rushers can have success. Two of the better pass-rushers in the NFL, Kansas City’s Tamba Hali and Minnesota’s Jared Allen, have arms in the same length range as Ingram.
And Ingram's are 31.5". So JA's and Tamba Hali's arm lengths are in the 31.5" range, shorter than Floyd's 31.75".
I think JA & Hali are doing pretty good. Agreed?

I can't find any data but I don't think John Randle had very long arms from what I remember of him.
