    Nice read.
    Thank you.

I have a lot of respect for Sharper in how he is dealing with this. He is not pouting like Birk is.

I'm not counting him out of being resigned yet. I wouldn't be surprised to see him take a reduced contract to stay here.

Re: Sharper not ready to concede entering final year of contract

Williams, who has played cornerback before and will be asked to use his man-to-man coverage skills from time to time, should allow Sharper to roam if he wants to.

As if that was ever in question.

"He's just a ballhawk," Johnson said. "Just being around him, he's teaching me how to hunt the ball, to hunt the ball as well as he does."

Sharper complained to coaches last season coaches about being stifled by the responsibilities of the system. Perhaps he'll be more at peace with his place this fall.
Let's hope so. I'd like to see him have a great year.

    Damnit.
Fricken PUKER teaching our rookies bad habbits like playing out of the scheme.

Hey Johnson, don't listen to that guy.
He doesn't fit or like playing in the Cover 2 scheme.

Seriously though, as with all great players, he will be missed but the game will go on.
Lets hope and pray that our front office has continued its ways of finding the right guys in the draft to step up when called in Johnson.

    I kindof think they have.
