What we learned in Week 3
Terrell Owens has had a profound effect on the Eagles offense. I'm not afraid to say that I was right about Terrell Owens. I believed when the Eagles got him that he would open up Philadelphia's passing game and make the other receivers around him really valuable. Guys like tight end L.J. Smith and Todd Pinkston fit realistic roles now. And the Eagles are definitely utilizing Brian Westbrook correctly; there isn't a linebacker in the league that can cover him.
The Colts are galloping toward another division title. The big win over the Packers proved the Colts can beat anybody, except the New England Patriots.
The Falcons need to jumpstart that offense. The Falcons might be 3-0, but they have to have more offense than Michael Vick to win on a regular basis. Atlanta's 6-3 win, at home, against Arizona isn't anything to get excited about.
You learn nothing in Week 1. Week 1 was definitely misleading in terms of the Green Bay defense. I thought they had gotten over fourth-and-26 in last year's playoff loss to the Eagles, but they haven't. That's obvious by the Packers' two consecutive losses. The Bears made the necessary adjustments and beat them at Lambeau last week, and Sunday they had no answer for Peyton Manning. They turned that game, defensively, into an Arena League game.BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

I think peyton manning would light up just about almost any secondary in our league. Ours included with the way we play defense, esp against the pass. I worry about our monday nighter vs the colts. :?

I wonder if he was hesitant because of his previous benching? I thought speed was supposed to be one of his strengths. He has those long strides that looks kind'a awkward. As it was though, he had like 11 tackles... I'd take slow if he keeps up that kind of production.

If Dontarrious is slow, then the rest of the defense must be playing on crutches...he was playing a new position of sorts, and I would say that he acquitted himself very well.

He is a DL, specifically a DE...wait a minute, I have an idea...move the quicker Hovan to DE and the slower Scott to DT. At the very least, they would serve as more than adequate backups and would add more depth to the DL in positions where they could be more effective.
