Secret Superstar: Chris Cook
Secret Superstar: Chris Cook, CB, Minnesota Vikings | ProFootballFocus.com
Well that sure would be nice! He did hold Calvin Johnson, Dwayne Bowe, and then the Fitz to 52 yards or less in consecutive weeks last year...potential is there, if he can find the focus to keep the tap open.Control the line, control the time, and give your D a chance to shine!!

I think Cook will be great, he played very well last season when he was on the field. Looking forward to seeing him perform this year.

I am on this bandwagon.
I think Cook has all the tools to be a very good corner in this league and I think his returning and Winfield getting healthy ... combined with the addition of Carr, Bowman and Robinson ... will leave our Corners looking MUCH MUCH better than people think this year.

Has he lost anything in the time off though. You gotta wonder.

I hope he has a monster year. I hope he doesn't make anymore bad choices.

I am saure he has lost a little... it would be surprising if he didn't. THe real question is can he get it back in time for week 1? I tend to think he can.
Call me crazy, but as I am looking at our secondary for this year, I like seeing Cook, Carr, and Winfield on the field as CBs, with Smith at safety. Our secondary isn't going to set any records this year, but I don't we will be the laughing stock that we were last year either.Zeus wrote:

Ya. I just want to see a competitive secondary. I would love to have a shutdown corner but after last year I would settle for a slowdown corner at least. Yikes. Last year was fricken horrible.
I bet you could use a cool one huh Clark...Now you're talkin Eddie...

I also like cook last year, dad even mentioned his plays were increasing.
but based on the result of last years secondary.. any name on that roster needs improvement.
