If we can beat the vikes there is not a team in the remainder of our schedule that we can't beat.
The guy seems to be putting their season on the line based on beating the Vikes.
    I'd agree with them.
If they can beat us, they can beat any other team on their schedule... However, thats not to be confused with us beating ourselves.
If we play like we did in th efirst three quarters of the lions game and lose, I wouldn't say the Seahawks are necessarily on track.
Are you suggesting that we didn't play well during the first 3 quarters last Sunday?

Seattle has wins over STL, JAX, and DET. It would take a miracle for them to beat us.

We played well in the sense that we moved the ball effeciently, but only came away with 17 points.
2 fumbles and a turnover on downs isn't playing well.
Seahawks are better than the Lions, and if we play that way against them, they might take advantage of it.

I think we played well outside of two plays and some penalties. One bad play is not enough to cancel out 20 good ones. Also, you are only looking at one side of the ball. The D was great.

Not IMO they didn't. The majority of plays were successes and I regard the fumbles and penalties as anomalies. In no way do they describe how we played. They did not make our previous plays meaningless. We still controlled TOP and moved the ball at will in both the passing and running game, which gave us confidence that we could do it later in the game. And again, our D played great.

We have played better teams and we have been up despite mistakes. We dominated the Lions outside of 4 plays. If we dominate any team outside of 4 plays, I like our chances.

This just sounds like another "but we weren't perfect!" argument to me.

yet the funny thing about sports, is they produce a winning team based on points, not how well they played aside from one or two plays.
between the 20's we played awesome.
We went without scoring in the redzone at least 3 times.
    We can't be doing that.

If I may, I think it falls along the lines of "Expectation Management" when you look at it from a fans perspective.

I for one thought we would have the starters out by at least the start of the third quarter.
Instead we were only up by 7 to a team that we expected to dominate, not only in yards/stats but by the score as well.

Until we smooth out those 4 plays and meet the "Expectation" of what should have happened, us fans will always see room for improvement.

I really wanted to get a look at TJ, and see if I could notice any changes and improvements in his playing ability and team leadership skills....I'll be wishing the same this week, that we go into the 4th quarter with a solid 21 plus point lead and at that time do some personel changes on the field.
This I feel is very possible, and I think that we will come out and play a much smarter and cleaner game this week, seeing we have played off the bye week rust on the Lions.....Big game this week, thats what I'm trying to say.....We will dominate the Seachickens this week.....
