Scrimmage v. Chiefs

The Chiefs will visit the Vikings again in 2007 on August 3 at Blakeslee Stadium and the adjacent practice fields. This practice session will be the only one for which tickets ($10) must be purchased to gain entrance. Tickets will be available via the Vikings Ticket Office at 612-33-VIKES, Ticketmaster at 651-989-5151, www.ticketmaster.com, Greater Mankato Chamber, and at the Vikings Ticket Tent located outside the entrance of Vikings Village. Starting July 9, fans can also purchase the Everything Purple Package for $50, which will give them reserved seating when teams practice in Blakeslee Stadium, and other perks, including a pre-event hospitality tent with private alumni and cheerleader appearances, grill basket from the Hy-Vee Food Court, non-alcoholic beverages and an autographed gift.

Darn near except the year after we brawled if I remember right.

That's why I asked. The last time I remembered us scrimmaging, we were brawling.

We used to, we don't scrimmage them anymore, players got too into it since it was laid back since the ref's didnt care, people would make it personal all the time and like Webby said there was a brawl one year.
After that they stopped doing it until Childress took over, now its just pratice with the other team, not a scrimmage.
They do drills not play a game

That's because we didn't want any of our players to be shot?

Wasn't it Vermeil who said one of our players should be shot because of a prior year incident?

Anyways, rumor has it the Vikings & Chiefs have made nice & there will be a scrimmage;
