His contract's up in two weeks and it looks like Del Rio wants him in Jacksonville. Do we keep him, or let him go?

    I say keep him.

Yeah, definitely too many hail mary's. He needs to use short passes more often to open up the big plays.

Short passes? No, we need to run the ball, to open up the big plays. But that was last year with Jimmy K., I guess. I was soooo disappointed we opened the game up, throwing, throwing, throwing. Anyone got their eye on someone to replace him if he goes/gets the boot?

I was more referring to the Cover 2 defense, which is more susceptible to short passes, rather than running plays. But, I do agree the Vikes need to run more.

Let him go. I don't think he is that good. He looks too much for the quick points. No balance. Once in a while he puts together a good plan but is not consistent.

What we need, gentlemen, is an OC that can REACT to the Defensive schemes and alter our play-calling accordingly. Linehan doesn't seem to do that.

The problem I've seen is that we try the same stupid stuff...play after play...and then we're punting. How about mixing it up?

If they're in Cover 2, toss short, if they drop their Linebackers into coverage, run, if they cheat up, toss deep.

But, above all, ADJUST, ADJUST, ADJUST.

Linehan seems to get fixated on a particular type of play, and never rolls off of it. That's part of why Philly's D rolled all over us.

Yeah, let him go. Get someone a bit more edgy and aggressive in there.
