SCHOOL RULES????
Lance Johnstone, Steve Martin and Sam Cowart were enrolled at a specialized executive education workshop at Harvard Business School and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, What did they learn? "Just the ins and outs of how to get going,""because we're behind the rest of the business community because we play football,"Martin stated. So basicly the NFL is calling them stupid, thats bs!

Re: SCHOOL RULES????
Once again, a thread that I have no clue what is being said.
I know that Lance took the class, paid 10 grand for it, and that's it.
You need to add a link to your run on sentence in order for us to interpret what your thinking.

Re: SCHOOL RULES????
They're not necessarily calling them stupid. They're just saying since they are pro athletes, they don't have much contact with the actual business world (such as retail sales and management and such), so they should recieve training on how to deal with common business so they have somethng to do after football.
So many people complain about the NFL and pro sports in general not caring about their players after their football careers are over, but this was one thing that was put into place to curb that criticism and show that the NFL does care about its former players. It's not an insult, it's actually mean to help.

Re: SCHOOL RULES????
Why is going to Harvard business school stupid?

Re: SCHOOL RULES????
Going to any school is NOT stupid.
No matter what it is, something can always be learned.
And that applies to the craziest things you can think of.
Somewhere there might be a school for mashed potato carvings.
But you know what?
Somewhere, somehow that skill would be used.
And you more than likely would get paid to do it.
Trust me "someone" would pay for it.
You see all those crazy clips on the news.
