if you notice i think tavaris is bitten by the winning bug :P

Every game he finished this year he won

the 2 loses he did not finish those games

Detriot and i forgot the other one

T-Jack is 8-2 this year and 8-4 as a starter

so hey call him what you want

    but he wins
The 2 games he started and lost was Detroit and Dallas.
The Dallas game could have been won with better QB play.
72 yards isn't good enough to win in this league.
He threw the ball terribly in that game.
In fact, if he played better the Detroit game they could have won that too.
Both were still a combination of events.
He is 8-2 this year and seems to get the job done.
The Vikes have been close every game this year he has started.
no it hasnt we have blown out our previous 3 opponents
I was actually talking about the games that TJ started and lost

I think TJ played well last night, minus that INT he threw at the end of the first half.
You can put the other 3 turnovers squarely on Fergie, AD and Shanks.
I agree with all of them but the one on Shank.
He (Shank) was open, however, he (TJ) clearly threw the ball late hanging Shank out there to dry for a very hard hit.

A good vet reciever will let a QB like the young Jedi know about that later.

    ;D
I am of the opinion that if you are in the NFL, being paid to catch passes, and the ball hits you in the hands, you should catch it.

If you can't catch it, knock it down.

The problem in this case was he didn't even get a chance to catch it, let alone touch it.
The defender caught the ball just as he was layed out by the guy behind him.

Again, a QB lays a man out to get leveled like that and there are discussions held my friend.

Hrmm, I thought he got his hands on it.
If not, I take it back Shanko!
Don't let TJ hang you out to dry like that

TJ had a rough game, but what I did like was that he didn't lose his composure, even with 4 turnovers.
    That is hard to do.
He is still young, he will have some bad games.
But in the end, he is still 8-2 as a starter, and I am more than happy with that.

The team won those games and the team lost them.

If anything I give the Defense more credit than the QB position as they have given us the points and field position to be able to win games we used to lose by playing our close to the vest offense. If we would have had to rely on the offense putting up 35-40 pts per game while going 90 yards per drive the record would be much different with him at the helm.

He is not a difference maker at this point i his career. At best he is adequate within a scaled down system

Bollinger won the game! He scored 8 points or we would have lost 13 to 12.

Just kidding. I'm not yet sold on TJ
because he has a ways to go. He's getting better all the time. And despite having a down game last night, we came from behind to win.
TJ has not used up all of his bad games for sure. But when you can still win despite not being at your best, then you have a shot.

My mind wanders sometimes and I wonder how good this team could be if we had qb better than TJ.

i would say he had 2 bad picks, the other one fergy should have caught it(not tjacks fault) and when he went to hand th ball off to ap, ap closed his arms before he got the ball, again not tjacks fault... but still he had 2 bad picks, and i agree he is young and will have bad games but he wasnt as bad as the commentators were making it out to be

It is great that he is winning, but kyle orton won a lot of games a couple of years ago, doesn't mean that he is a great quarterback. Heck, Rex got his team to the superbowl last year, that doesn't mean I want him as our qb. I still think that if a good qb is available during the off-season we should try and get him, it would be good to have real competition for tjack and the loser would be a safety net. I don't feel comfortable yet putting the 2008 season in tjacks hands.
