Re: Saunders interviewing for HC job today

Here is the ranking of my choices for HC.

    1st- Al Saunders

    2nd- Gary Kubiak

    3rd- Kirk Ferentz

    4th-Mike Singletary

Just think if we have fired Tice last year we could have had Romeo or Charlie as HC.

Childress and Saunders is going to be tough to get. It is interesting that KC would prefer to have Herm than Saunders, especially since he has done such an awesome job with their offense. Ferentz is going to have to get the right offer. I would prefer him, especially since he is already vested in the area and is one heckuva coach.

I really like Ferentz too, but have a feeling he ends up being hired by the Packers.
That's the word on the street, but you never know...stranger things have happened. This will be a good test of Zig's word, whether he is really committed to spending some coin for the right guy...whoever that is.

I would prefer defense, but not Cottrell, if for any reason than we need to cut loose from a disappointing season.

Fassell, although is ranked low on kfan.com is still a threat to win the job. I am totally against that move...I don't like the guy...at all!

    No retreads!!!!!! Please!!!!!!

I thought it was interesting that Linehan was on that list.

It would be a comfort to DC to have him back. We wouldn't have to change much. Kinda pick up where we left off.

I don't think it would happen, but never say never.

Never say never...word is that he will if the job is right. There are certainly a lot of options.

I don't think that Saunders is HC material...just a gut feeling!
