Sanford is taking better angles and is hitting better, but it is his pass defense that has been the most notable improvement. I hope he keeps it up. I hope he improves further.
When PA asked Sanford, in a KFAN interview this week, if he plays with a chip on his shoulder, Sanford replied that he has to as a smaller player in the NFL. He added that Smith and himself play well together because they communicate with each other on every play.
