Cowart if healthy should help this defense very much. He is a great leader on and off of the field.

I don't think he's saying that Minnesota is a small market. Just that between Buffalo and New York, the two places he's played, Minnesota reminds him of Buffalo more. Given what he said about the New York media, and the Jets organisation, I think that's a compliment.

I agree with that, but having lived in Butt-flo for two excruciating years, I can tell you that association with that place is not a compliment.

EJ Henderson lead our team in tackles last year. Something we haven't had out of a linebacker for a while. He had 90+ I think he has awareness enough to start on this team and get better each year.

I thought Winfield led our team? I could be wrong I guess.

Yes, but his mental lapses time and again have killed us on cut back run plays and in pass coverage. Our D just could not get off the field on 3rd down the last 2 years.

Nope Winfield is in the top five not #1

Actually Darren the cutbacks success were often a result of poor DE play from the rookie Udeze. I'm sure EJ had is fair share of mistakes. The point is the guy gets to the ball, and when he does the ball stops. 90+ tackles..........he was at the ball, leading the team............he was at the ball before everyone else..............young and inexperienced....the sky is the limit.

Oh and he is our LB so he is doing something our DB's have been doing the last few years in making plays in regards to tackles. Plus from what I have been reading the guy has a great attitude.

For everyone who loves to hate Chavous and Williams for bad attitudes where are the props for the guy who has openly said he knows it will be a battle and that he is going to work twice as hard.

Just defending the guy, not accusing anyone of anything here.

thats pathetic. our corners arent going to be our top tacklers this year. all 4 of them are in the top 5! i hope our dline is better than that.
