    Check Troy Williamson's salary.
    Over 9 million for bonuses.
That must be a mistake. (Should be a credit to the Vikings)

Yikes, if it was 9mil last year, I wonder how much it will be for this year.

Interesting information though...too bad its not for the 07 season.

I guess that's what you get for being a 7th pick in the draft.

Now snap to it and play like you're paid.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Even though it will never happen, I've always felt that Pro Players should be paid by a large percentage of their personal on field play.
Pay scales set up for different poaitions and such..... Hopefully TW will play up to his pay level this season.

To put it simply if Twill does not pick up his level of play this year he will be getting on down the road.

I'm sure Twill is aware of that and hopefully it will turn into on field performance to the likes we've never seen out of him.
He has A LOT to prove this year.
Hopefully that alone doesn't make him buckle under the pressure.

Re: Salaries for the 2006 Vikings

The subject should really say "Compensation", rather than salary.

Here is the salary information for players currently under contract for the Minnesota Vikings in 2007:
(I had to do multiple searches, since the NFLPA's website, in a word, sucks).

    One more note:
rookies not yet signed (Peterson, McCauley, etc.) are not listed, since, of course, they are not under contract.

    And one more note:
    this is only base salary.
This information does not include contract information concerning signing, roster or performance bonuses.

Re: Salaries for the 2006 Vikings

I don't understand any of this. They need to make the contracts simpler so that I can understand how much each player is getting, what affect it has on the salary cap, what affect it will have in each of the future years. Normally when I get confused I just turn to madden, but Madden just simplifies it so that's no help either.

The NFL and the NFLPA keep this confusing for a reason.
Not the least of which is to keep the true value of individual franchises and the league itself a closely-held secret.
