Not a bad read. Good to see consistantly good things said about the Vikes from different reporters. I am way stoked for tomorrow's contest.

Re: S.I. Training Camp Postcard: Vikings
Maybe I'm old fashioned (heck, I know I'm old) but weren't (aren't) the team members required during training camp to eat together the meals a staff of dieticians have prepared especially for the players needs. They always did before. It was mandatory. Maybe that's why Williams is having trouble keeping the weight off.but I'm not so sure about the food; I ate lunch between practices at a nearby Chipotle, and I believe half the offensive linemen in camp were there, as well, scarfing down excellent burritos.

Re: S.I. Training Camp Postcard: Vikings
The Vikings will undergo a uniform change in 2006. Not a big change, but change. A little white on the shoulder and sides. New look. I'm a uniform guy. The more classic the better. The Vikings' are classic and not to be messed with. I am not happy with this change. Not happy at all.
To bad his opinion doesn't count..

Like Steve Mariucci in Detroit, Tice was one of the boys. Childress is not. It will be fascinating to see if it works. Both the Lions and Vikings have talent. (The Vikings have more).
