Ryan Longwell is playing in the American Century Championship golf tournament this weekend. THe early coverage on Friday was on the golf channnel, but the weekend coverage will be on NBC.
I just saw him on Fridays coverage I am watching on TiVo. Although the announcers showed their ignorance by saying "Free Agent Ryan Longwell, spent 8 years with the Vikings, recently left as a free agent." Maybe Johnny Miller and the NBC crew will get it right this weekend.
He spent 8 years with the Packers, there is something wrong in the post :)

I hate sports announcers who try to talk about other sports, like in this case. The worst, the ABSOLUTE worst, are the NBC tennis analysts. Whenever they try to talk about something from another sport, they are completely wrong and suck big time.
When he plays with the Vikes this coming season, he will wish that he was on the Vikes his whole career.. How can you rate the Cheese and the Vikes as equal?
