Running game needs work. They aren't getting the yardage they could get.

I guess most of you are AT the game.
I expected more from the Running Game with the first string out there.
Yuck!
Hate the new uni's as well, oh well.
At least I got excited about seeing Erasmus blow past Gallery.
Hovan good to see you back it has been awhile!
I agree I hate the new unis, but I think we are in the minority.
I think they are to blueish and should be a darker purple and tone it down a bit way to busy.
Personally I am not worried about it, the offensive line takes time to gell, and this was our first preseason game, and the raiders second. The Raider D-line is not bad, Warren Sapp being an excellent player for most of his career, and Derrick Burgess with the sack title last season.
Chester ran well behind the Raven's line, and ours is much better than that, it will just take a few games for them to gell. It's cool, no worries.
PS: T-Jack is gonna be amazing.
I was never really sold on chester taylor tonight he had 9 rushes for 18 yards 2 yards a carry....in comparison tarvaris had a 17 yard scramble ill b optimistic though and say that the o-line needs more time to gel and if nothing works out then we always have mewelde who i think is
a greatly underestimated back

i agree, memo did the best with the worst blocking...and why is he third behind taylor and fason now? fason goes down when the defense breaths on him. cant even break a tackle.
im not liking childress pulling his eagle boys into the mix, they say on espn the WR we traded for mcmullin is going to be good, and i havent seen mcmullin do anything yet. mcmahon is terrible, worse than i remember. and this character issue with the vikings is going to be the big mistake. good guys finish last, and im affraid that the statement always rings true. your going to have mediocre guys playing football, with no attitude....osullivan is doing pretty good....getting sacked out of FG range!..woohoo, at least theyre not playing OT. and thats my thoughts for tonight. goodnight.
O'Sullivan played well?
The guy is a joke.
He didn't get sacked to lose field goal position...he made an idiotic choice on 2nd down and tried to be a hero only to end up being the chump that he is.

O'sullivan got sacked time and time again out of FG range..thats not playing well at all, at times it looked like he was running to get to the locker room, it was comical! but dont get me wrong, he played Terrible, i wouldnt be surprised to see both mcmahon and osullivan cut after theyre performances
;D
Noone should be questioning the running game right now based on last nights performance. In this offense, you pound the ball...and you will see as the offensive line and Taylor take more reps in a game (regular season) they'll both be more productive. The running game looked fine to me last night, its preseason, the first game.Nothing to speculate about till the regular season.
It's waaaaaaay to early to say this is bad or that is bad. I think we did pretty well for our 1st pre-season game with a new coach & system. Not bad at all
Not bad at all?????? We played the friggin raiders, worst defense EVER. Preseason or not we sucked. Their running game didnt suck....
