Rumors I heard

I heard a few rumors this morning reported on Pro Sports daily out of the Pioneer Press. One said that Zygi has received permission to release players due to off the field conduct, and not have to pay them any bonuses or take extra cap hits, there were 2 players he had asked about releasing but names weren't given.

I also heard not only is M.Bennett being shopped to AZ but Denny Green has also asked about Daunte Culpepper. Did anyone else hear anything like this or is this just the after morning talk????

all that is ridiculous, if you release players now, you still have to pay them for the entire year, there is no permission that can be given by anyone to go over the cba, i dont know about bennett and dc will not be traded, that is the most ridicuous thing ive heard.

To get rid of Daunte in a trade to Arizona would be the stupidest thing ever. They have nothing that would help us!

THat is some of the worst rumors I have ever herd in my life. You cant "Shop" DC. and why the hell would u cut players for off the field issues that IMO arnt even that big of a deal if your not married.

Go to prosportsdaily.com today's NFL rumors, I'm only reporting what I read on there.

I agree with all of you, I would trade Bennett, but thats about it.

Here's what was posted on the page....that's all I was saying

St. Paul Pioneer Press (Scroll Down) (registration required): "It the NFL will allow it, don't be surprised if Vikings owner Zygi Wilf, livid about the Lake Minnetonka escapade, doesn't release at least two participants soon... Some people wouldn't be surprised that if Daunte Culpepper falters in Chicago today, Arizona Cardinals coach Denny Green will try to trade for the Vikings quarterback before Tuesday's NFL deadline."

What would be so bad about trading Culpepper? Do you really think he can get this team going, after 4 flops? His stats reek and his leadership qualities are non-existant.

I doubt he will be traded. I also doubt he can turn his season and this team around. If there is one position on a team most likely to blow a game, it is the quarterback. And ours just ain't cutting it, fellas. I hope Rhome can work some magic soon, cause even if the NFC North is the worst in the NFL, we ain't gonna win it with Culpepper playing like he has been.

Trade deadline is tomorrow, it doesn't happen. Nothing ever happens.

Trading DC is like telling all the players that came to the Vikes this season to go screw yourself.
