Which round in draft to pick offense?

what do you all think about drafting a QB late in the draft? we need a good backup, Frerotte is getting up their in age and also doesnt want to be a backup his entire career from here on out. I was thinking maybe somebody fun in the 6th or seventh. Maybe Phillip rivers if he falls to 19. . . . ok maybe not but dont be suprised if we draft a WR if one of the elite falls to us
I think if a QB's the best player available in the 3rd round or later, there's a good chance we'll take him. But that really depends on how the first two rounds go.
Faster than a speeding Grady Jackson! More powerful than a Nick Barnett! Able to leap Ahmad Carroll in a single bound! Look! Up in the sky! It s a bird! It s a plane! It s Jermaine Wiggins!

89, chances are better that we won't get any of those guys at 19, let alone two of them. your dad is dreamin', sorry.
big c, rogers is a guy we drafted out of georgia tech. he played de there, and we moved him to lb for his first couple of years. he's moving back to rush end this year though, and i think it's a brilliant move.

QB is the one position I don't think we will take. Tice is too high on Shaun Hill, and we aren't going to carry 4 QBs.
When it s all said and done, you ll have to admit we re number 1!

I'd have to say that if Smith, Udeze, Williams, and Vilma are gone that we will select offense in the first round. Possibly a WR or Offensive lineman.
