Roster predictions
At this point, here are my predictions:
QB (3) ---
Favre, Rosenfels, Booty.
Jackson managed to look bad last night, even with good stats.
He's so indecisive and you're just on pins and needles every time he gets the ball, waiting for him to throw that pick or make some other mistake.
He's been given some time, and is in no way where he should be with his development.
Time to move on, maybe see if you can get a late-round pick from someone for him.
I feel solid with Rosenfels as the backup and Booty as the younger developing QB.
RB (3) -- Peterson, Taylor, Albert Young.
I'm sentimental to Ian Johnson, but Young has looked solid and it appears the coaches are favoring him, too.
FB/TE (4)
--
Shiancoe, Kleinsasser, Dugan, Tahi.
I hate Tahi, but I don't see how he misses the roster.
Injury prone Garrett Mills is the odd man out here.
WR (5) -- Berrian, Harvin, Rice, J. Johnson, Reynaud.
There's some debate about Bobby Wade's place on the team, and I think he's gone.
He's a thoroughly average receiver, and I believe Johnson and Reynaud are as good and bring more versatility to the position.
No way either Reynaud or Johnson make it to the practice squad,
and I think Wade pays the price.
What

Re: Roster predictions
OL (8) -- McKinnie, Hutchinson, Sullivan, Herrera, Loadholt, Hicks, Cook, Brian Daniels.
I'm not very sure on the backups, and wouldn't mind seeing Cook gone, but as much as he sucked as a starter he might be a better option than the other potential backups.
DE (4) -- Allen, Edwards, Robison, J. Mitchell.
DT (5) -- P. Williams, K. Williams, Evans, Guion, Kennedy
LB (7) -- E.J. Henderson, Greenway, Leber, Farwell, Brinkley, Herron, Erin Henderson
S (4) -- T. Johnsin, M. Williams, Frampton, Abdullah
CB (5) -- Winfield, Griffin, Allen, Sapp, McCauley

Re: Roster predictions
LS -- Loeffler;
K -- Longwell; P -- Kluwe.
I think I'm still 2 short, so I'll throw in Wade as a 6th receiver and Radovich as a 9th OL.

Re: Roster predictions
Why don't you agree?
Why Jackson instead of Rosenfels?
Rosenfels makes quicker decisions in the pocket and I believe has a better ability to manage the game than Jackson.
We need a QB like Rosenfels over Jackson.
Why Ian?
What has he shown you so for over Young?
I think Johnson has looked fine, but Young has a year in the system and has looked solid, with the staff giving him reps in the games over Johnson.
For the life of me, I can't understand why people think Wade is such a keeper.
He's a Titans castoff who I think would be lucky to make most NFL rosters.
His big mouth lately has given me further reason to dislike him.
I watch Reynaud's explosiveness, good hands, versatility ... and it makes me sick to think we'll keep Wade over him.
As for Herron vs. Grigsby, could be, but Herron is a decent ST player and we need all of those we can g

I think we will keep jackson over booty. That all depends on if jackson can do what he did last game these last 2 preseason games. everyone says booty will be in but jackson is getting better every year and to stop the project of what we started is not a very good move IMOWhy don't you agree?

Young and Ian can go either way really but I just like Ian better. Young just might make it at the end.
Wade was our leading reciever if im not mistaking last year and to get rid of him for us to get rid of that wouldnt be smart either. I do like reynard and JJ but i think JJ will be the odd man out

Re: Roster predictions
Trade Bobby Wade and Tarvaris Jackson for a third round pick!

Re: Roster predictions
Why would anyone trade Bobby Wade after what he has done for us the past years.

PUT IN JACKSON!
