Rookie Sullivanlikely to start if Herrera doesn't
Vikings RG Anthony Herrera is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game at Detroit after missing practice Wednesday and Thursday following the death of his oldest brother.

Hadn't heard this.
:'(Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

first time i've heard about that.
wish him all the best, and although I hope he can come ready to play on sunday, I'd also like to see what Sullivan is able to do in a real game situation.
Of all the games for this to happen, detroit poses the least threat to us.

Re: Rookie Sullivanlikely to start if Herrera doesn't
Might not be a bad thing... Herrera rests for a game, and we get to see if Sullivan is good enough to replace Birk next year, if we don't sign Birk for millions. Of course, the Lions shouldn't pose a really big threat to Sullivan, but it should still be a pretty good indicator of his strengths and weaknesses

well if he gets blown up every play, then maybe its a good indication he's not ready to start on the line yet.

Well.. we won the game and Herrera played throught out the whole game.
Thank God cause from what I saw he did a very good job blocking. It would have been interesting to see Sullivan finally play (I don't think I've ever seen him play) but that could possible have been the difference between winning or losing this week.
