    What's up rubes,

It's your boy Showtime back again keeping you up on what's going on with me.
The first Monday night experience was pretty cool, I played a lot on special teams so I got the exposure that way.
It was a pretty grinding experience out there, but I enjoyed it all.

It was just a great atmosphere out there.
I mean to play on 9/11, for the fans and for America, it was just a great experience and something I'll remember for the rest of my life.
For that, and it was my first Monday night experience.

None of the Washington receivers really stood out, I mean Santana Moss' speed, you know his 0 to 60 is very fast.
Other than that no one really impressed me with their route running or anything like that.

This week you know we have Steve Smith and Keyshaun Johnson coming to town.
I just gotta go out there and do my job and execute my technique against those guys.
If they run their mouths, that's when I get into the game little bit, I start mouthing back but that's all part of the game.
We're all competitors out there so if one player gets fired up, I'm gonna try and get fired up with them.

As for Saturday night and my Longhorns, you know the game didn't go the way I wanted it to go and I lost a little there you know.
The defense has to pick it up this week against Rice, but other than that I think the offense did a pretty good job but the defense put them in a bad spot.

Outside of football things are going alright for me, I'm still just trying to settle in and make sure everything is alright with my family.
Then there's my house situation and my finances, so I'm just in the process of getting all that straight and stay in the rookie mentality right now.
No one from Texas has moved up here with me, I've always been on my own and that's just the way I keep my life situated.
So really it's just making sure my family back home has everything they need.

Carolina this week so until next time, this has been Showtime.

    showtime?
thinks a little highly of himself!

Hope he can back it up.
Especially saying that the Washington receivers were nothing special, word is going to get around quickly when you say things like that.
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

Agreed, a little full of himself for a guy who has only played in one regular season game.
I hope he can back it up, but for his sake, he might want to try the humble route until he has at least proven himself a little bit.
Maybe Smoot can give him a liitle advise
